I returned to work on THE DRAGON MISTRESS a couple of weeks back, and, like when I returned to THE CURSED MAN, I found I am largely happy with what I've already written. I feel the pacing is just about right, and that the characters are well defined, and the story easy to follow. One thing that I know I need to do when it comes to the next edit / rewrite is to better detail the appearance of the characters. Right now, they just have names, and it is largely up to the reader to decide how they look. I won't go nuts detailing them, but I'm quite aware that right now they could look like just about anything.

As this is my only project right now, I'm hoping to have the whole thing wrapped up by January 2018 or so. Maybe sooner, but I'm not hurrying to get the novel finished at this point.
